The larger cover display allows users to reply to WhatsApp messages without opening the main screen. The Now Brief feature can instantly show schedules, weather, and travel alerts directly on the cover display. Galaxy AI and Gemini Live Integration on the Cover Display

Samsung also brings Gemini Live integration to the cover display, making the Galaxy Z Flip 7 the first foldable phone that offers multimodal AI access without opening the main screen. This feature can provide real time suggestions, such as outfit recommendations for various events.

The cover display uses a Super AMOLED panel with vibrant colors and strong contrast. It is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2. The inner display uses a 6.9 inch Foldable Dynamic LTPO AMOLED 2X panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. Thanks to the water drop hinge design, the crease on the inner display feels less noticeable, although it can still be seen under certain angles.

Benchmark results include an Antutu score of 1,285,010, Geekbench Single Core score of 1,592, and Multi Core score of 6,921.

The battery capacity has increased to 4300mAh compared to the previous generation. With moderate use, the device lasts all day with enough remaining charge by nighttime. Samsung’s internal testing shows up to 19 hours of browsing and 31 hours of local video playback. PC Mark tests show close to 14 hours of endurance.

50MP Camera with Better Low Light Performance

Samsung keeps the main 50MP sensor with OIS, a 12MP ultrawide lens, and a 10MP inner selfie camera. Daylight photos have accurate colors and sharp details. Low light performance improves thanks to the ProVisual Engine. The larger cover screen enhances the selfie experience with a wider preview. FlexCam mode allows users to take group photos more easily using the main camera. The Audio Eraser feature is also available to remove background noise in videos.

Galaxy AI for Productivity and Entertainment

On the productivity side, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 includes Galaxy AI, including Gemini Live, which can be accessed directly from the cover display.
